Silver Ridge Holdings Berhad – SRIDGE (0129) were incorporated in Malaysia as a corporation under the Act of 29 September 2004, as part of our selling system. We are principally involved in investment holding, provision of management services and trade in general. Our wholly owned subsidiary, is a SRHB NGTS provider that provides telecommunication system architecture and design, the solution of next generation network and telecommunications solutions related to software.
In 1995, began as a pioneer in the sub-contracting services including design, installation, testing and implementation of cellular networks for Maxis and Motorola. In 1997, emerged as one of the leading operators in the integration of cellular network system including the implementation of cellular infrastructure, the auxiliaries of the cellular network, DC power system and microwave, mini-links for cellular network (project turnkey). Our company was more confident with the provision of total solution for the development of the GSM network to Time Wireless Sdn Bhd Riding on our expertise, Ghana successfully in South Africa with Motorola and Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd, ensuring the development of the system GSM projects in both countries.
Technical knowledge of our business and technology solutions were further enhanced with the implementation of total solution for the cellular network for TM Cellular Sdn Bhd, in 2001, in partnership with Motorola. Through the same partnership with Motorola, we have gained experience in CDMA and transfer of technology through the provision of CDMA solution to Telekom Malaysia since 2002 until today. We have moved in the right direction, since the CDMA technology is the basis for all 3G systems, which helped us to strengthen our position as a leading local supplier of CDMA and 3G related solutions.
In 2002, as part of our expansion plan to develop complementary solutions, we have established our R & D Division to develop software applications and NGN solutions for the telecommunications industry. In 2004, won a contract to implement the 3G network of Telekom Malaysia, which has been applied successfully in the 1st quarter of 2005.
At present, Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd has a total workforce of 104 employees of which 60 are highly qualified engineers, IT professionals and technicians skilled personnels in the area of telecommunications.
Silver Ridge is working closely with our technology partners in providing telecommunication solutions and telecom solutions related to software. To date, we have established a long term relationship with multinational companies such as Motorola, Huawei and ADC.
