Central Industrial Corporation Berhad was incorporated on May 20, 1972 in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 as a limited liability company under the name of Central Industrial Corporation Sdn Bhd on 23 May 1989, the Company became a public company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (Bursa Malaysia) and assumed its present name.
The main activity of CICB include the manufacture of Self-Adhesive Labels and Tape Measures pressure sensitive adhesive (masks, double-sided, silicone paper tapes, etc.), mainly for packaging, advertising applications, general labeling and identification . The pressure sensitive adhesive tapes are sold under the brands of Apollo and the CIC.
The company is located in one of eight acres in Sungai Petani in the state-of-art of mechanisms capable of producing 6.0 million square meters per month for Adhesive Tapes and 2.50 million square meters to label populations .
